Karaoke Anywhere Legacy App Reviews

For me, this is a great app. I can understand the frustration of those who do not already have their own karaoke files. This app, though, makes it so easy to practice songs. Practicing with the original recording is just not the same. Also, you get to see the timing and words of the karaoke version which is great as they are not always accurate. The sound with earphones is helpful too. Looking forward to key change and video connection capabilities. Good job joltsoft!!

This is the greatest app I have seen!

Update has problems and song stalls out. Half the features do not work. Do not buy at this time until they fix them. Takes to long to get to songs.

This was my gem on Apple. The one app that made my heart soar. Now it makes me sore. Sour even. A sour apple. At some point the app decided to not allow me to play streaming karaoke and indicates I need to upgrade. Ive already payed for the upgrade. I even risked subscribing to it again, paying for it a second time in a month, but alas it will still not access streaming music as I had been accustomed to. Ive reported the problem with no resolution. Will have to request credit back from Apples app store. Pity. Its not a situation of sour grapes, as it is of rotten apples. One bad apple destroys the whole bunch! Shame on you Karaoke Anywhere!

I echo Charcole6s sentiment. I upgraded my phone and this app no longer recognized my subscription. To no avail I emailed KA Support, even wrote them on their Facebook page, to try & get the problem resolved. Crickets. I did try to resubscribe and it did not work. Ill be getting a refund from Apple for my subscription and deleting this app.

This app has so much potential, and you can see that many of its features were planned well... But overall, the app is poorly developed. Its incredibly buggy. It freezes frequently (whether just the music, or lyrics, or both) it takes forever (60+ seconds) to load or "initialize" at times, it skips during recordings, and its just unreliable overall. I can deal with the $1.99 songs, but I cannot handle the bugginess.

This app is awesome!!! Only improvement I want to see is AirPlay support.... Keep up the great work!

Used to love this app. Got my new iPhone 4S two weeks ago and lost ALL of my purchased songs (Im talking I spent at least $40) and lost ALL of my recordings. Just tried to download a new song and lost that too. TOTAL CRAP! How the hell do I get my money back???? This is TOTALLY BOGUS! By the way... To those who said they are getting refunds from Apple, how are you getting them??? I figure Im owed at least $50. Thanks.

I switched from the iPhone 4 to the iPhone 4S now I pay for the subscription but the app says I dont have a subscription. Ive tried using the report a problem link that shows on the email I get showing a payment was deducted. Ive tried emailing them about the problem and Im still paying a subscription fee on an app that says I dont have a subscription so I cant use it and have no access to any of the song I loaded or recorded previously. My subscription renews in 2 weeks just might decide not to renew it Ive already paid for 2 months I couldnt use it. Would have been 5 stars if I could get some sort of response & resolution to my subscription problems!!!

The app only works while in airplane mode. Whenever I have a wifi connection the app turns on then shuts off. Dont waste your money.

What happened to my music and my credits?

The best app. You have to buy tunes or subscribe. Dont.know anyone who gives them away you can also load all cds that you own

Before I get into how good this nerw version is.I wanted to comment on previosu reviews.People were complaining they had to pay for songa? Do you get songs for free from Itunes??/ I think not. There is an old expression: There is no such thing as a free lunch!!! If they were giving away the songs they wouldnt be working on new versions. This new version has almost everything. It tranferred all my old songs with no problem. Best thing is the key changer that allows one to go up or down per half step on keys. Great if song is too high or low. My next suggestion wouldbe away to remove vocals/background vocals if so desired.

On my last update of my osi I lost all my songs and Im not able to reload them . My point is if you pay for some thing it should be kept on record or in the app thats backed up on your PC . And I have not had luck with support . So my opinion is dont waist your money at 2$ a song Im out at lest 80$ ouch

Worst app ever! I want my $2 back! Just worthless

I used to love this app. Ive been paying 10 bucks a month for over a year for a membership subscription that used to get me access to a huge database of songs. Now theyve taken away and locked a huge number of songs that used to be included in the price and they want you to pay additional. Im going to cancel my subscription if theyre going to keep taking away things that used to be included in the price.

I have been a paying customer for years and suddenly the streaming song database is smaller. Songs I use to have for free are now in the pay. Never did address the bluetooth accessibility which is standard with all music related apps and not something special. Will be canceling my sis subscription @ this point. Good luck!

This app fails to mention that even though you paid for the app you cant really do anything with it or play any karaoke unless you also pay a monthly fee.
